Can I get an upgrade...

It was time to upgrade our phones and even though I liked so many I didn't want to spend money on a new phone as the one I liked would have cost me $100 and something out of pocket.. Nope no thanks!

SO here's mine... Clean and simple

and mom decided to indulge in her musical tastes...

Made some cards...

Okay I think my friend Arleen is really rubbing off on me..

I'm making cards and I'm liking the color pink... well liking the color pink might be a little to much to say, let's just say I am liking using the color pink in scrapbooking--won't go as far as saying I am wearing it yet...

So anyway made this two cards last night while sitting and watching t.v. (vacation swap--which looks like it will be good and fun to watch) with my mom. For some reason being home gets me all inspired and creative..

Now wait till I move home and have all the supplies in one place, aka my very own scrapbook room!! I can already see it in my head... I am actually sitting in the room that will be my scrapbook room....oh I can't wait...

argh..

I do love coming home to see my mom, but sometimes my grandma just drives me bonkers.. She says one thing and does another.. I love her to death, but sometimes she forgets that I don't like certain things and/or can't eat them as my stomach will hurt...

Just about to sit down to dinner. Grandma was going to make carrots and salad and because we apparently can't cut potatoes she did that to. cooked them and was going to slice them... so we cut up onions, shred the cheese, and make the chicken stock for my mom's cheese potatoes--which I love..

grandma walks in and is like here are the potatoes, mom says ok Heather is going to add the chicken stock, etc. Grandma says or no they are already done.. She decided to make potato salad...it's green onions, potatoes, and about a half a ton of Vinegar. Wonderful! Vinegar pretty much burns my stomach-so can't eat those..

no carrots but instead beans--the ones in a can that are pork and beans--blah...

guess all I am eating tonight is chicken...I was looking forward to good carrots and cheese potatoes--haven't had potatoes in forever...

Loving the Lazy Life

I love this time when I have no school between the end of April and June! It truly is one of the best times of the year...No school, no books, no paper, and no pens-other than those used for scrapbooking purposes..

Maybe this is why I like the teaching field.. those three little months they call June, July, and August!!

Next May if all goes as planned I will officially have my degree!! Here's hoping there is a classroom waiting somewhere for me..

Prayers Needed!

As many of you know I am a design team at Making Memories for You. One of my fellow DT Members (Niki) recently found out that her 5 year old has a brain tumor..

To be exact it is a diffusely infiltrative brain stem glioma.

Cancer/Tumors/Sickness is so not fair to anyone, but who can imagine it for a little girl?

Please keep little Ellie in your thoughts and prayers as she goes thru radiation treatments

Random Internet Search-Determing Your Role

Not sure how I came upon this site, but it was kind of interesting... And I just love surveys

Roles

I am the following:

As a Sage your job is to find out everything important there is to know and spread that knowledge to as many others as possible, through humor and entertainment. You are a lighthearted, wise, articulate individual. You hate to grow up or lose your childlike wonder towards the world. You excel verbally and make a great lecturer, communicator, or comedian. Most of you love being the center of attention and are the life of the party.

You excel verbally and make a great lecturer, communicator, or comedian.

On the other hand, you can be loud, tasteless, or childish if you aren't careful.
You also have a tendency to be overly garrulous and talk the ears off your listeners.

You need to avoid scandalous gossip which you tend to love. Juicy stories always grab your attention but when you spread them you can become slanderous. It would be easier on your listeners if you give them just a kernel of basic information, at times.

We have observed that Sages have wound their ways into the entertainment and media fields in large numbers, particularly since the advent of film, television, and radio. Even though these Sages are very visible, we have found that the percentage of Sages in the population as a whole is quite small, probably not more than 15%.

Sages are: Communicators, entertainers, teachers and tricksters.

I'm Back....

Got back today from an AWESOME first cruise on Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Seas. What an experience.

I'm back, alive but tired and way to sunburned... I got sunburned in WAY to many places that I have never been sunburned before.. And yes I did use sunscreen. On Thursday my hair was braided by Frankie who had parted my hair--so my scalp is burned. Lips are slightly burned--they just feel a little bit raw...

Back got it the worst and it burned last night like no one's business. Chest is slightly burned--the "girls" haven't seen that much sun before as I wore a different type of bathing suit this time around, a halter top like tankini.

I'm so sleepy so it's time for a nap....

Pictures and a detailed list to follow one of these days..
